Missing the Muse is One Year Old!

Hello everyone! Please excuse me while I dust off the cobwebs of this blog.

Today marks one year since I signed up for WordPress.com and started my Missing the Muse blog.

It has been too long since I really focused on this blog. I’ve been caught up with some other projects.

At the moment, my focus is on writing the screenplay for a horror film. I have been hired by an independent director in Colorado to write the screenplay for him. It is a great (yet gruesome) story, and I can’t wait for it to be told.

As for my personal endeavors, I am working on setting up my professional freelance writing website.

Danhoger.com is up, but it isn’t quite finished. Feel free to check it out, though.

Once that site is ready, I then plan to return my attention back to Missing the Muse. I have a backlog of poetry and haikus that I want to post up here. I suppose I could start posting them now, but I would rather wait until after I change the look of this blog. It really needs a makeover, in my opinion.

I am happy to announce, however, that I have secured an official domain for Missing the Muse. The URL is now officially http://missingthemuse.com. Please make sure that you bookmark this new URL.

So that’s a little of what I’ve been up to and what I have planned. Missing the Muse isn’t dead, just hibernating. These other projects require my attention. But once things are settled, Missing the Muse will be rebooted. It’s just taking longer than I had anticipated. I apologize for the wait, but I appreciate your patience.

In the meantime, please Like/Follow/Add my social media accounts:

Thank you very much for sticking with me for one year. I look forward to turning the lights back on in this blog. Unfortunately my ADHD won’t let me work on just one project at a time. It is what it is.

Thank you to all of my followers and readers. Your support this past year has been absolutely amazing, and I appreciate and love each and every one of you.

Until next time, friends…

  1. Happy Birthday to your blog, Dear, Darling Dan! I love what you’re doing and am greatly looking forward to your new poetry and blog re-vamp, honey. You are a bright light in this blogosphere, my friend. Hugs and kisses, BigLizzy
